About Us

All classes are completed in one day or less except for Personal Protection Outside the Home which is a two day class due to extensive range time.

All classes are available as ladies only classes or private group classes

Classes are available weekdays as well as on Saturday

All classes are more than reasonably priced. It will be a pleasure to get to know you and provide the training you require. Use the contact method of your choice listed below for more information and registration information.

North Carolina General Statutes requiring eight hours of instruction not including range time are strictly followed. This protects your permit from the possibility of being denied or revoked. Training and Standards are aware of Instructors not following these guide lines and are taking appropriate action

Training Philosophy

Every student, regardless of experience or ability takes a class to gain more experience and knowledge in that area. I strive to see that each student leaves feeling that they have done that. I find that as an instructor that learning from your students is as important as teaching them and makes me a better teacher. Firearms training of any type has to be done in safe, no nonsense manner with a clear course objective.

Training Experience

I have been in the shooting sports for over 50 years. I have been a certified instructor over a number of years during that period. I bring twelve years of law enforcement experience to the class setting. Current certifications are listed above, also completed the NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Course while in that field, and have completed the Combat Focus Shooting Course offered by ICE.
